Our story

The story of La Maison is one that fuses the old and the new - blending together historic architecture, inspired cuisine and an innovative family business.

In 2007, Wassim Saliba and his wife Marcia took ownership of the old Customs House, a 160 year old building with regional significance.

They have brought life to the old building, elevating the space with sympathetic renovations like restoring the Bluestone Cottage into an intimate function room and adding the indoor/outdoor dining area out the back.

Wassim and Marcia have poured themselves into creating a space which is homey and welcoming. And they've done it all while raising their family, who are now working alongside Mum & Dad to continue the La Maison story.
